I don’t really know where to start, but a good way to begin this conversation is probably by saying:
We need to do something.
There are things going on in our world today, that we have been fearing and warned about for many years.
We can’t hide it anymore, and soon we will get to know how bad it really is.
And the truth hurts.
We have just seen the worst nature disaster in history, and this will just be the first of many.
This is how bad it is, and if people still think this is normal, they are wrong.
This is not normal, something is very wrong and I think we all have been starting to feel like that.
The poles are melting away, the water rises, it gets heated and animals are getting extinct.
Our polar bears, plenty of sea animals and birds are dying away from us.
The air feels different, the seasons are changing.
I remember always having snow on christmas when I was a kid.
Now, the snow don’t come until the middle of january in that part of Norway.
There is a whole island of trash floating in the Pacific ocean.
This video is about an island in the ocean at 2000 km from any other coast line.
Nobody lives there, only birds and yet ……………
You will not believe your eyes!!!!!!!
Plastic that will be on this world, destroying the nature and the life on this earth for thousands of years.
Something needs to be done, and it’s not just about turning off that extra lightbulb or sorting your trash, we are way past that.
And it’s not our faut, because we never really knew how bad it was until we saw it ourself.
Important information and knowledge is being held away from people and even whole countries that needs it.
It’s like a suicide, but not like jumping from a bridge, more like an eating disorder; slowly slowly getting weaker til it’s all over.
And what about the cancer and disease that is spreading like fire in the hot, dry desert.
Every day I hear people talking about losing someone to cancer or knowing someone who just got it.
Why is more and more people getting it?
Radiation? All the technology we are surrounded by?
In the water we drink, shower and brush our teeth in.
The air we breath.
Is it really that clean anymore?
But there is alway something we can do.
And I think what needs to be done now is to get the information out.
We need to know the truth.
We need to know how bad this really is, and then we need to know what we can do.
And not just me, not just you.
No, entire countries, if not all of them, now we really need to work together to do something.
Give knowledge to the once who needs it, and start working together.
Because it doesn’t matter if there is borders between us, we were the one who made those borders, they don’t really mean anything.
We live on the same earth and now we need to save it.
Today hundreds if not thousands of mothers are looking for their children in the Philippines, and some might not find what they are looking for.
And whether we like it or not, its our fault.
Something needs to be done, before it’s too late.
