How to impress your valentine

Valentines day is right around the corner and even though it is a day that should be filled with love and romance, I know that there is a lot of people out there that feeling that this is the holiday that creates the most pressure.

Because it is not always easy telling someone how much you love and care about them. Maybe you are telling someone for the first time, or maybe it is someone you have been with for years and years, and the pressure is how do I show just how much I appreciate you, or how can I show that I still love you.

Not just that, I have friends who hates Valentines day, who feels its just another day for the retailers to get in your pockets. Buy the cards, and the chocolate and the flowers and the teddy bears! oh why just stop there, buy the perfume, and the bracelet, and the ring and the four layer cake! I honestly saw a commercial on TV the other day telling you to “Give the love of your life the gift of power and comfort this Valentines day” and the commercial was for A CAR!! Now that to me is just crazy, because the reason why I love Valentines day is simply because it is a great reminder to tell the people who means the most to you, just how grateful you are to have them in your life. And for me it is not just a day for couples. This is the perfect day show your parents or your close friends just how much they mean to you. And best  part of all, making someone happy, making someone feel loved and appreciated, that’s a gift you give yourself by giving to others.
