One of the best things about big award shows is that they are so good at making it, like everything else in Hollywood, a big deal.
During the VMAs I had the joy of attending not just the awards itself, but also several of the other events created around the VMA’s.
One of these events was the MTV VMAs teaming up with CoverGirl and hosted the event “COVERGIRL and the VMAs Got You Covered: A Beauty Trends Forecast & Celebration.”
A panel of experts, including singer, Tori Kelly; beauty expert, Amanda Steele; MTV Style Editor, Gaby Wilson, Nicole Richie, Jake Bailey, and Co-Host of MTV’s Girl Code Live, Nessa, talked about beauty in anticipation of the VMAs.
It was a really fun and girly event. Beauty panels is always fun.
For the occasion I was wearing my new favorite lipstick from MAC called Stone, a matt, dark but still warm grey color for bolder lips that works great with a simple outfit and light makeup.
